Momo Cyrus GIVES 500k to SWAL for HQ Project.

The Chief Executive Officer of SEGAL Security firm, Momo Cyrus has donated a mouth watering 500 thousand Liberia dollars (2,941usd) towards the headquarter project of the Sports Writers Association of Liberia.

Liberia’s sports writing body which has been squatting at the headquarters of Press Union of Liberia since 1986 ambitiously launched her first headquarter project at the 35th anniversary aimed at her owning her facility.

SEGAL Boss, Momo Cyrus who was certified and inducted into SWAL Honorary membership donated the 500k as an initial contribution toward the process.

“We can’t over emphasized the tireless efforts of sports writers; I can recalled your countless support towards Lofa that led to our championship during 2020/21 nations county sports meet,” he added.

For his part, Youth and Sports Minister who served as Guest Speaker donated 50 thousand Liberian dollars (294usd) as an initial contribution.

Others who donated include stages Fc Boss, Emmette Glasco, representatives from Handball federation, Record Fc and Blanco fc amongst others.

Our reporter who covered the event said this is the first time in ages for the Sports Writers association to organize such an elaborate celebration followed by such a vital fund raising rally.

He believes that this ambitious HQ project will require lots of funding to buy a land before the project itself noting that the weekend fund rally was vital to what is to come in the future.
