Mjaliby AlF have Announce the signing of Librarian International Sam Johnson and is expected to join the team today in training to play his First Match against Örebro SK tomorrow.

Sam Johnson was born in the city of Monrovia in Liberia and moved in 2011, as an 18-year-old, to Sweden and Assyriska IF. In Sweden, the striker was successful in the lower divisions and after games in Swedish Juventus IF, Härnösands FF and IK Frej, he ended up in Djurgårdens IF in 2015.

During two seasons in the Allsvenskan, the 28-year-old made an impression with 17 goals in 41 matches before leaving for games in China. In the club Wuhan Zall, Sam played 26 matches and equalized a nice result with 12 goals.

In 2018, he was back in Scandinavia and Vålerenga where Sam for two seasons was noted for eleven goals in 24 matches. After the fine performance in Norway, he has since spent two seasons in Real Salt Lake in the top league in the USA and half a season in Malaysian Sabah. In total in these three seasons, there have been 11 goals in 38 games.

Sam Johnson joins the team on Thursday, then conducts a medical examination and if all goes well, he is ready to play for the match against Örebro SK. He has signed a contract with the club that is valid until the 2022 season.
