Government of Liberia And Partners Begun Ministering Johnson And Johnson Vaccine

The Government of Liberia and Partners have begun administering the newly arrived Johnson and Johnson vaccines to citizens across the Country

Speaking during the launching ceremony held at the Paynesville town Hall Thursday, Health Minister Wilhelmina Jallah said only one dose of the J and J vaccine is being given to an individual.

While terming the rollout process as a great milestone to getting Liberians safe from the deadly corona virus, Minister Jallah disclosed that huge portion of the vaccines will be taken to other parts of the country to have citizens vaccinated.

She cautioned Liberians who have already taken the astra zeneca vaccines to avoid taking the J and J vaccines.

For his part, Foreign Minister Maxwell Kemayah on behalf of the government thanked the relevant partners for the provision of the J and J vaccines.
