30 Persons Reported Dead And Several Others In Critical Condition While Attending A Church Crusade I

Reports from the Borough of Krutown say, over 30 persons are reported dead while others remain in critical conditions at the Redemption Hospital on the Bushrod Island due to a stampede situation.

This information is also being confirmed by Montserrado County Electoral District Number 16, Representative Dixon Seboe as posted on his official Facebook page expressing sadness about the incident.

A staffer in the lawmaker’s office confirmed his swift visit at the Redemption Hospital to ascertain what was going on.

According to a source, 11 kids and 17 adults are said to have been confirmed dead at the government hospital on the Bushrod Island.

Accordingly, the situation portrayed the ‘ survival of the fittest’ theory or ‘ only the strong shall survive’ scenario where people were running, while others who fell to the ground, including kids and adults suffered the unbearable pains from the running crowd.

The situation followed minutes after a major crusade having thousands of residents hosted by famous Liberian Prophet, Apostle Abraham Kromah disbursed at about 9pm.

The source further narrated that while the people, including kids and adults were making their way out of the D. Twe Sports Pitch where the crusade is held, some disadvantaged youths otherwise called ‘zogos’ reportedly began to terrorize peaceful citizens; something which instilled fear in the people and started to run for their lives.
