People’s Liberation Party’s Political leader Daniel Cassel relieves Wilmot Paye of the party’s chairmanship for gross violation of partisans constitutional rights, but Paye terms the decision as contradictory to the Party’s constitution

The PLP political leader decision was confirmed by Chairman Wilmot Paye, who disclosed that he received a communication from Dr. Casell asking him to exit the party.

According to the termination letter, a copy in the possession of this station, Dr. Cassel’s decision followed numerous complaints brought before the party as well as GPC members that demonstrate Wilmot Paye’s gross violation of the constitution rights of several party members serving in leadership positions across the Country.

The communication states among other things that Wilmot Pay directly instructed and authorized the Party’s acting Montserrado Chairman Washington to replace the entire leadership structure of the Montserrado Youth assembly with unknown members who have not been vetted and approved by the GPC.
