The Executive Director of Youthin Actions for Progressive Initiative Wants Liberians Work Collectiv

With the increase in drugs abuse in Liberia, the executive director Youth Actions for Progressive Initiative has called on Liberians to Work Collectively To Minimize Drugs Abuse in the country.

Speaking when he appeared on West Coast TV late evening show Thirsty Thursday, Lennue Kollie said for drugs abuse in Liberia to be reduced, all Liberians need to put hand on desk and work together.

He named the lack of young people being involved into their families, as one of the reasons that lead to young people getting involved into drugs abused.

He at the same time mentioned peer pressure and and refuser of the society to accept those young people who start the abuse. He is quoted as saying “when those young people start the abuse by smoking more people usually bully them stating that they are zoko”.

The YAPI boss however wants the Legislature to pass a law making the abuse of drugs in Liberia a none billable offense.

The Youth in Action for Progressive Initiative is a non-profit organization that is involved in preaching anti-drug abuse and providing quality and equitable education to the Liberian populace.
