Rep. Foko Wants His Colleagues Support The Removal of 30K from Budget

Representative of District#9 Montserrado County call on Lawmakers to support him for the Removal of US $30k from the budget intended for Lawmakers call on Senate for Swift Action.

Speaking in a news conference in his Capitol Hill office Hon Foko said he has written a letter to the Senate Po- Temporary siad the decision to receive a thirty United State dollars to individual Lawmakers while other basic need within sectors of the country are not been met was an I’ll advise as such the money should be redirect to the needs of the suffering masses

Foko further call on colleaguesbfeom the Senate to removal the funds intended for Lawmakers for legislative project to redirect it to free tuition bill as been passed by the house of Representatives

The District #9 lawmaker said as President Weah continue to stress education should be a right for every child and not a privalege He further that if redirect the US$30k to education it will improve the the sector.

Meanwhile Frank Saah Foko express disappointment in Montserrado Senator Abraham Dillion advocacy for the US$30k when he appear on spoon talk November 24, 2022 said the first thirty thousand received for last fiscal year 2021 they are yet to see tangibles.
