PRESIDENT WEAH LIGHTS UP FISSEBU TOWN, LOFA COUNTY

Residents of Fissebu Town in Lofa County are now the latest beneficiaries of the special presidential solar lights project.

Fissebu is a little Town fifteen minutes drive away fro Zorzor District, Zorzor City Lofa County.

The rural residents smile and jubilated Thursday night June 3, 2021 when their leader, President George Weah switched on Solar lights for the first time in their town.

As was done in other Counties, the solar lights unlike before will now help improve local economic activities including security protection for the people in their Town.

In a happy mood, the beneficiaries dance and shower praises on the Liberian leader for the meaningful and historical project in their area.

The light poles according to the Executive Director of the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE) Pepci Quiwu Yeke is one hundred and fifty and have been erected in strategic areas in Fissebu and surrounding areas in Lofa County.

President Weah speaking briefly when he switched on the lights encouraged the happy beneficiaries to maintain the facility for their own good.

Meanwhile the lightning project was supervised, implemented and installed by the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE) headed by its Executive Director Pepci Quiwu Yeke who is a son of Fissebu Town.

Meanwhile the electrification project is expected to be extended to Foya and Voinjama City Lofa County respectively, that’s according to reports.
