Over 2000 Liberian Kids Benefit from Jophine Helping Hands Liberia Chapter Initiative

An international non-profit institution, Jophine Helping Hands Liberia Chapter, has identified with over 2000 Liberian kids in observance of the country’s 174th Independence Day celebration.

The Jophine Helping Hands is a humanitarian organization established by US-based Liberian Dr. Josephine Kyne, with chapters in Liberia, Kenya, Uganda and the United States, where its headquarters is situated.

During the July 26th celebration across the country, the organization identified with kids in four counties, including Montserrado, Margibi, Bomi and Grand Cape Mount by providing snacks and toys as a sign of motivation.

Speaking to West Coast TV during the tour in the counties, Jophine Helping Hands Liberia Chapter head, Joel Kamanda said the institution is not a charitable organization, but rather serves humanity though kind and cash when the need lies.

Kamanda further noted that the humanitarian organization has been seeking interest of ordinary citizens across Africa, including Liberians over the years, adding that they also donated assorted items and food materials to Liberians during the heat of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

He also clarified that the institution’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Josephine Kyne, who is also an ordained Pastor of the Gospel, expects no political benefit from her services being provided to her fellow humans, stressing that her only mission on earth is to serve humanity in accordance with the Holy Scripture.

Joel Kamanda promised the organization’s continuous support to lighting smiles on the faces of Liberian kids, including their parents or guidance counselors once the resources are made available.
