MoE Receives Major Boost As GPE through UNICEF Donates 4 New Pick-ups

The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) through UNICEF has donated four brand new Toyota Hilux Pick-ups to the Ministry of Education.

The donation was made on Friday, August 27 at the Ministerial Complex Head Office of MoE.

Receiving the vehicles on behalf of the Ministry, Education Minister, Prof. D. Ansu Sonii expressed great delight over the donation, describing it as very timely and absolutely relevant.

Minister Sonii said the vehicles will go a long way in facilitating monitoring and supervision of schools and ongoing projects in the country.

The MoE boss lauded GPE and UNICEF for their continued support towards improving the education system of Liberia, urging other valued partners to follow suit.

The four Toyota Hilux vehicles were purchased for the Ministry as part of the GPE Emergency COVID- 19 Response Grant managed by UNICEF.
