Bility Allegedly Under Pressure For Unilaterally Amending Liberty Party Constitution

The Chairman of the Liberty Party, Musa Hassan Bility is reportedly under immense pressure from the hierarchy of the Party for unilaterally amending LP original Constitution to what the hierarchy called to suit his selfish political agenda coupled with giving himself undue authority equal to the Political leader of the Party.

According to West Coast TV sources in the corridor of the Liberty Party, the political leader of the Party Sen. Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence has immediately called Chairman Bility and the Party Secretary General Mr. Martin Saye Kollah for an Executive Committee Meeting to answer on an alleged amendment in the organic Law of the Party.

West Coast TV further said that the Liberty Party Secretary General Martin Kollah was later included to face the Executive Committee members predicated upon the law that allow all Parties Chairs and Secretaries to submit Party Constitution to the National Elections Commission, in this instant case, LP Partisans believed that, the Chairman didn’t change the Constitution singlehandedly but with the consent of the Liberty Party Secretary General they both submitted the Alleged Copy to the NEC.

Our source also said it is expected that, upon convening the Executive Committee meeting for said purpose, a special investigative committee will be constituted to investigate the two party stalwarts.

The disclosure by our source further revealed that the Party Chairman is reneging to appear before the Executive Committee members for little over two weeks now since the matter was brought to the attention of the political leader Sen. Lawrence.

West Coast TV source also mentioned that the alleged amendment in the constitution shows that Chairman Bility reportedly tempered with several Clauses that define the office and Authority of the” Chairman” of the Liberty Party and Extracted certain power assigned to the Political Leader of the Party .

According to reports, Chairman Bility allegedly Change the portion of the Liberty Party Constitution he and the SG submitted to the National Elections Commission.

However, the Political Leader of the Liberty Party Sen. Nyonblee Karnga Lawrence has with the overwhelming consent of the Executive committee written the National Elections Commission to send a copy of the Liberty Party Constitution currently in the Electoral Body possession.

Meanwhile, West Coast TV called Chairman Bility to confirm or denial the allegation in which he said the allegations are false and misleading.

According to chairman Bility, he remembered his political leader wrote him a communication that the part of the Constitution that give her an exclusive power was extracted from the constitution, stating that he does not actually know what she was talking about.
